Simon O'Brien and Adam Dunbar are opening the doors of Bar 59, a new basement bar attached to the stylish Italian restaurant Marchello's. The bar will be targeting working professionals including theatre goers to the very nearby King's Theatre and anyone looking to enjoy the nightlife that Glasgow has to offer.
Initially, Bar 59 will only be open Friday and Saturday evenings with the occasional night to compliment the busy theatre schedule, with a well stocked bar with premium brand spirits, bottled beers and an extensive cocktail menu.
Simon commented "We are very excited to be opening the doors and ask that everyone comes in to say hello. We are selling a some nice beers with Moretti on tap and plenty of bottled beers to choose from too. After working in Glasgow for so long, we have received a huge amount of support through social media and thank everyone for their kind words."
Adam added "The bar is going to be a real family affair. Both my wife and Simon's are going to be involved in helping the bar become a success - so much so, that Simon has roped his daughter into helping as well"
Bar 59 is located at 57-59 Elmbank Street (across from the King's Theatre) Keep up to date with news from Bar 59 on Facebook.
