New Dishes on the Menu at One Devonshire Gardens

Glasgow's iconic One Devonshire Gardens is getting ready to launch a new Sunday lunch menu bespoke to the hotel, a first for the Hotel Du Vin Group.
The sumptuous new menu has been carefully crafted by head chef Barry Duff and his executive team and will be available at One Devonshire Gardens from Sunday 23rd April.
Commenting on the new menu, Alan Brady, food and beverage manager at One Devonshire Gardens, said: “We’re excited to launch our new Sunday Lunch menu and are looking forward to sharing it with diners and guests from later this month. The menu offers a true taste of Scotland using the best ingredients from our nation’s larder and we hope guests enjoy the dishes over Sunday lunch with friends and family.”
Served over four courses, the new menu brings to life Barry’s passion for Scottish cuisine created using fresh, seasonal, locally sourced and wherever possible, organic produce.
To start, guests can dine on a choice of Dunkeld smoked salmon, duck liver parfait, Stornoway black pudding, whipped goats cheese, beetroot, carrot and fennel pickle and walnut crumb or pumpkin and parmesan veloute.
The choice does not end there with a selection of five mains available from roast rib of Cairnhill Farm beef to Newtonmore venison navarin, or butter roasted cod to globe artichoke served with spring vegetables, carrot purée and poached egg.
Those with a sweet tooth can enjoy hot chocolate fondant and vanilla ice cream, apricot cheesecake with raspberry sorbet, banana panna cotta, toffee sauce and honey ice cream or sticky toffee pudding served with clotted cream. There will also be a selection of cheeses available from renowned local cheesemonger, George Mewes.
Those looking to complement their meal with a bottle can chose from One Devonshire Garden’s extensive wine selection housed within the hotel’s very own cellar. Sommeliers will be on hand to help diners find the prefect wine pairing to their meal.
Situated in a tree-lined Victorian terrace in the heart of Glasgow’s West End, Hotel du Vin offers the ultimate dining experience with a whisky snug, cigar shack and bar all set within rooms that have been carefully converted to retain their original Victorian features.
