Celebrating World Cocktail Day - Why Not Try These Cocktails?

If you are celebrating World Cocktail Day on the 13th May you might want to try one of these delicious cocktails which are easy to make at home.

Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin Negroni - a classic cocktail for a warm summer evening:

  • Combine 30ml Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin with 30ml Sweet Vermouth and 30ml Campari in a mixing glass.
  • Add ice and stir until chilled.
  • Strain into a glass and garnish with orange peel.

Thomas Dakin Cottonopolis - Dakin's take on the Cosmopolitan:

  • Chill a glass with ice and remove.
  • Combine 35ml Thomas Dakin Gin with 20ml Cointreau, 30ml cranberry juice, 1 teaspoon of marmalade, 2 lime wedges squeezed and a few drops of Peychaud or Angostura bitters (optional).
  • Combine all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake hard with ice.
  • Strain into the glass to remove any marmalade pieces and garnish with an orange peel twist.

Feeney's Espresso Martini - an easy summer cocktail:

  • Add ice to a cocktail shaker.
  • Pour in 30ml Feeney's Irish cream Liqueur, 25ml Espresso Coffee and 20ml premium vodka.
  • Shake and strain into a cocktail glass.
  • Garnish with three coffee beans.
